Vision & Values

Our vision is to see earth look more and more like heaven.

Our mission is to equip the Saints to know who they are in Christ, walk in freedom through the truth, and make disciples who change the world.

At Saints’ Hill we believe that in God’s presence all the right things grow and all the wrong things die away. We believe that intimacy with the father was how Jesus did ministry, and is his ultimate goal for all of creation. We want to see Newberg transformed due to the hopeful work of the Holy Spirit, and the increase of faith, hope, and love in the Bride of Christ.

Core Values

Saints’ Hill was founded on 10 core values. Each value describes how we want to build our culture and define our success.

We believe that it is important to declare God’s reality and align our hearts with His. Each of our core values has an accompanying declaration that we invite you to pray.

  • The goodness of God is the core of our theology. Jesus went around doing good, and we know when we see Jesus we have seen the Father (John 12:45). So today I declare: God has been good to me in all His ways. He has revealed his character in the world, and made himself available to everyone. Jesus’ sacrifice not only cleans me, but also brings me into his presence as a child. We know that the enemy steals, kills, and destroys (John 10:10) so I never have to wonder where destruction, theft, or death comes from. We know that in the end God wins. The earth will unite with heaven and all will be made new. Because God is good, we believe God will pour out heaven here and now through us (Matthew 28; 10:8).

So today I will look to express the goodness of His kingdom through signs, wonders, healings and prophecy to give a taste of the abundance of God and future destiny of all creation. Amen!

  • Thank you God that we are New Covenant people! The veil has been torn, fear is removed and we get to enjoy the intimacy that the Old Testament prophets longed for but never had (Matthew 13:17). So today we declare: your word is authoritative over our lives to make us free, prosperous, formed, and invited into the impossible (Luke 1:37, John 8:32, Joshua 1:8, Psalm 119:9, John 15:15) The scriptures tell us the truth about our origins, and about your intention and design for our lives.

Today, I submit myself to be cut with a word that I may bear even more fruit. Thank you for the stories in the Bible of our heritage: a people of praise and presence who chose to trust you and submit to your great and wonderful plan. I will join the great cloud of witnesses by living off your word today. Amen!

  • I experience the kingdom to the degree I make you king, so today I declare:

Jesus you are king. All your enemies have been put under your feet, and you are inheriting all things in heaven and on earth. I love to remain in your kingdom and under your authority. As I do I will experience all the blessings of your will being done on earth as it is in heaven.

Help me to see today where I haven’t allowed you to love me, and cast out my fear. Because you are my king, surrender to you produces the kingdom around me. Today I give my full “yes" that heaven may be the result.

    Amen!

  • Father, we see all the way back in Genesis one that the purpose of being human is to be with you. By the Holy Spirit, you have made your home with us, and answered Jesus’ prayer of John 17.

So today I declare: the presence of God is in me, that where I go he goes, that he is at my right hand and whatever I touch is being touched by Him. The presence of God refines us, teaches us, gives direction, and fills us with joy because where He is there is fullness of joy. We will be a people of strength because you are with us. We are confident we will see the goodness of the Lord come through his presence in our lives. Amen!

  • Today I declare that nothing is impossible for God!

Jesus you are the healer and it's what you love to do! When you died on the cross you made a payment with your body that released divine health over all humanity (Isaiah 53). Three days later, you rose from the grave with resurrection power! Therefore, my inheritance is an open heaven and a lifestyle with that same power.

So, wherever I place my foot I will release life and create an atmosphere of Heaven. There is no sickness, brokenness, dysfunction, or calamity in heaven. I receive the call to heal the sick and see earth look more like heaven. Amen!

  • Jesus thank you for what you did for me on the cross. Through my confession of sin, and repentance I now get to enjoy what you made possible for me. The Scriptures teach me that you became sin so that I could become your righteousness (2 Corinthians 5:21). I know this work means that my identity has changed. I am now washed, and completely pure (Hebrews 10). Jesus took the cost of what my sins deserved so that I am now unpunishable (Romans 8). I have been purchased by his blood. I am now in Christ, and what Christ deserves I have access to: devotion from a father, forgiveness, a new identity of royalty, honor in the heavenly realms, and authority here on earth to see the kingdom come. God wants to show me off as his expression of rightness in the world, so it is my job to die to anything that isn’t under his righteous rule, so that I may be free and my city may prosper. Amen!

  • Where the Spirit of God is, there is hope and joy.

So today I declare: Your Spirit lives in me and that joy cannot be removed from me. I will remember that what God says about me is truer than my circumstances, and I am on the receiving end of an abundant kingdom. I will hope in His promises. I will dance and sing because the goodness of God. The reality of being His child produces joy and hope. I believe that this joy will go beyond me, whatever I touch will be influenced by heaven. So today I will remind myself that I am secure in Jesus, I am completely forgiven, I have nothing to fear with my Father, my past is redeemed and I will live victoriously. Amen!

  • Every person that I meet is a person that Christ has honored with his life, death and resurrection. God has given us freedom to not choose him out of honor and for the possibility of love; so today I will not fear people’s mistakes nor be afraid to confront people with love. Like Jesus, I will not control others, but will allow people to experience the fruits of their decisions. I will give honor not because of people’s behavior, but because of who I am in Christ. I will remind others of who they are, image-bearers of God, and view them with the mindset of Heaven. I am free and full because of the freedom God has given to me. I will exercise my freedom towards its purpose of love, and will show honor to others by giving them time, attention, energy, prophecy and partnership - knowing that I lack nothing. Amen!

  • I believe revival and gospel transformation looks like healthy family! So today I declare:I am a child of the almighty God, and I have been set free and am no longer a slave. Your spirit that I have received has adopted me as one of your children!I am chosen by you, a part of a royal priesthood of your sons and daughters; and with this identity I am designed to Invite others into the same family, where everyone has a place at the table, forgiveness is quick, there is no competition or jealousy, time is spent eating together and praying for our city, and we align ourselves to worship king Jesus.

Jesus, thank you for being our perfect model for family.

Because of you, I am never alone.

    Because of you, I belong.

Because of you, I now have brothers and sisters.

    Amen!

  • We will leave a spiritual inheritance for those who come after us to enjoy and receive. We want to create a spiritual platform for those who come after us to stand on.

So today we declare: Earth will look more like heaven in our lifetime, and in the generations to come after us. We will pass down the truth about God to our descendants, and because of that, Newberg will be flooded with generations of disciples who carry increasing peace and breakthrough. God has ordained praise through children to defeat his enemies, so we will look for the coming generations to partner with us to see God’s kingdom come. Amen!

Core Values Book

When Jesus taught his disciples to pray 'On earth as it is in heaven' He was giving his disciples a life direction, a way to live, a goal:

Heaven on earth…but how?

How does one see heaven come in their life and through their life? Through understanding who God is and who you are.

Imagine a door, and this door leads to a greater clarity around the identity of God and your own identity. Each chapter in Saints’ Hill Core Values presents the reader with a door; a door to encounter, a door to taste and see the goodness of God and to bring about the lifestyle and culture of heaven in your person, your home, and your work place as you begin to trust Him more.

Corporate renewal begins with personal renewal, and personal renewal comes by opening up the door to Jesus when he knocks. This book was compiled to explain, describe and invite the culture of Saints’ Hill Church in Newberg, Oregon. We hope that it helps you hear the knock.
