Our Founding Story

Saints’ Hill church was planted in Newberg by Bridgetown Church in 2018 and was founded by three families: Alex and Emily Rettmann, Jacob and Beki Vigil, and Andoni and Lorna Montaño. After experiencing God moving in unique ways under their various responsibilities at Bridgetown Church, Alex, Jacob and Andoni began to ask the question “What values encapsulate our convictions for ministry?” After receiving 10 of these values, committing to one another to equip saints together, and sensing a specific call to Newberg, Saints’ Hill had its’ first gathering on October 7th 2018.

Since the founding of the church, Saints’ Hill has been built around hosting the presence of God and forming a family that puts focus on the transformational reality of being in Christ, and the power of God’s Holy Spirit to revive and reconcile lost sons and daughters to Himself.
