God, we thank you for your great humility. That you have loved us first, and accomplished what we could never on our behalf before we even knew your name. Great and merciful God, you are worthy of all praise.

Read : Psalm 123

“I lift up my eyes to you, to you who sit enthroned in heaven. As the eyes of slaves look to the hand of their master, as the eyes of a female slave look to the hand of her mistress, so our eyes look to the Lord our God, till he shows us his mercy.  Have mercy on us, Lord, have mercy on us, for we have endured no end of contempt. We have endured no end of ridicule from the arrogant, of contempt from the proud.”

We Ask You Lord:

That you would rid us of pride and give us your eyes to see the people around us, those you love so dearly.

Take A Moment:

Ask the Holy Spirit to bring to mind someone in your life. Ask Him how He sees them and if there is any specific way the Lord wants to strengthen them today. Share this encouragement with that person.
